Perhaps Herzog thought that his disconnect from the man (unlike the woman who had the tape) would keep him from being bothered by it. BETH BEAR MACE THAT GUY!!! I have since calmed down, but for Herzog to film himself listening to Treadwell die is at best self-indulgent and at worst exploitative to an almost pornographic extreme. The only reason this guy died is because he forgot that bears are still wild animals and not his family or friends, much like Sigfried and Roy figured out with a Tiger.
